If you are interested in presenting classic films in your library or other institution, I have had years of experience curating and presenting series of varying lengths. Before founding the Savoy Theater (on Main Street, Montpelier) in 1980, I started and programmed 8 seasons at the Lightning Ridge Film Society, Roman-Hliday-posterMontpelier’s first classic film series, at the Pavilion Auditorium. For many years, I programmed a Contemporary World Cinema program at the Savoy Theater, programmed classic films and discussions at the Green Mountain Film Festival, and since leaving the Savoy, I have curated several classic film series: for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), at the Jaquith Library (Marshfield), Chandler Music Hall (Randolph), and Maple Corner Community Center (Calais). I can also curate additional series to specification. Here are the schedules from some recent series.
