Since 2010, I have been teaching film classes at the Montpelier Senior Activity Center. The class subjects have included, “Romantic Comedies,” “Influential Films of the 1960s,” “Neglected Gems,” “Classic Films of the 1940s,” “Scandinavian Films,” and “Passport to World Cinema.” In the winter of 2013-14, I led three-session “Looking Closer at Movies” seminars in Randolph and Marshfield.

In 2014, I will again be offering these classes, again in Randolph and Marshfield, and also in Montpelier (in conjunction with the Vermont College of Fine Arts). Here  is a description of the material covered in the seminar.
